Naturally processed, these extraordinarily rich beans are Miguel Arrellano’s art. Miguel is part of El Eden Cooperative, located in El Eden, Atoyac de Alvarez, Guerrero, Mexico. The 15 member Atoyac cooperative is unique among Mexico’s coffee cooperatives in that growers’ pool resources and credit but never their beans. Each cooperative grower sets their own price. Miguel’s wonderful bourbons, roasted to a full city shade, produce a creamy molasses and walnut-toned cup with a closing note of light, rich blackberry. There is so much to say about this extraordinary co-operative; please read our blog to learn more about El Eden!
