Seattle Express is a post-roast blend that just may be the perfect bridge between medium and dark roasts. The base of Seattle Express is a medium roasted Kenya AA -- a bold, full-flavored coffee with good body and great aroma. Vienna and Italian roasts are then layered onto the Kenya AA to provide a rich, creamy texture. This blend will satisfy those that love dark roasts as well as those that just love good coffee. The main flavor notes are dark chocolate, dark liquorice, blackberry, and a full-bodied Merlot -- these are then layered with traces of bitter cocoa, pepper, and charred oak.
