These beautiful peaberry beans come from the Brusimpiano Farm in El Saitillal which is located in El Salvador's stunning Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range. Peaberries are unique, robust beans generally harvested from more mature coffee plants. The peaberry bean, unlike standard coffee bean, is the entire seed rather than a split (half) seed of the coffee cherry. This complete bean or seed produces a wonderfully round, full flavor unique to peaberries. This lovely El Salvador Peaberry is medium roasted with a silky body, sweet aroma, and refreshing sweet citrus notes that cascade over a milk chocolate base. Salvador Peaberry is a strictly high grown, strictly hard bean, gourmet, naturally-grown Arabica EP.
