Dubbed the Queen of Vietnamese coffee, this intoxicating moka bean is as rare as it is delicious. A descendent of the original arabica mokas brought to Vietnam by the French in 1927, the Queen is grown 5,000 feet above sea level in Cau Dat, Da Lat in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. The Central Highlands boasts rich basalt soil (a natural soil made from crushed volcanic rock), a temperate climate, and the steady mist needed to produce exceptional coffee. Despite pristine growing conditions and Vietnam's status as the second greatest exporter of coffee globally, a mere 4-5% of Vietnam’s annual coffee export is arabica. Our Vietnamese Queen has a wonderfully rich aroma and notes of sweet chocolate peppered with hints of caramelized vanilla. Rainforest Alliance Certified and ethically grown, RFA Vietnam Arabica beans are handpicked and sorted to ensure only the finest, ripest beans are shipped to roast. Medium roasted with delicate berry acidity and good body. This coffee is excellent hot, iced, and cold brewed.
